Because of their Xbox game streaming thing. To find it, you need the beta Flathub repo. Didn't install it, did look at the streaming site in Firefox, didn't see Far Cry 6, so there's no need to buy Xbox Live, and upgrade to Ultimate for a dollar.

Now if I could stream Far Cry 6, I might pay for live and upgrade it.

I might decide I want to play a Game Pass game in the future and get it, but not right now.

I'd rather use Edge then Chrome. Well Chromium might be safe. You don't want the regular Chrome, it's riddled with Google spyware. But Edge might be riddled with Microsoft spyware.
