iCloud Private Relay, apparently sends web traffic to Apple first, to remove your IP address, then sends the stripped data to a third party, who sends it to the destination, using a temporary IP.

Who does Firefox use for their VPN? I’ve used whoever Firefox uses, think it starts with an M. They use Mullvad. You can pay without giving them much if any info.

And Apple’s thing is cheaper, you can get it for $0.99 a month, any storage plan will have it. You can’t get Apple’s iCloud Private Relay yet. Maybe if you are a developer, you can beta test it.

Apple’s is limited to Apple stuff. Which is a bummer, I need it for my entire network. Good idea, plug the internet into Mac mini, and share it with the router. I did that with Net Nanny a long time ago. It worked with Net Nanny. Net Nanny for the entire network.

Is it coming to macOS as well or just iOS 15?

What happens if you use a VPN with it? Double encryption?
