Thought I was going to have to use my power station all night. But wasn’t out very long, like somebody flipped the switch, then flipped it back.

At least my desktop doesn’t turn itself back on, that might be a bad idea, if the power is turning off and on constantly. Apparently Mac mini doesn’t turn itself on either. I just turned it on.

I was in the process of fixing my universal remote, I figured out, the old remote doesn’t send the command twice. Turns out, you shouldn’t do what the app for the remote says. If you hold the button down until it learns it, you risk it then sending the same command multiple times, just click it once, wait, probably will fail the first time, then click it again. A real pain with one button on the old universal remote. The button barely works, so you have to click it a bunch. The reason I bought a new remote, the buttons are going out on the old one.

Probably need to redo the PS4 adapter as well, but I’m lazy. Hmm, was my soundbar in the app or did I learn it? If I learned it, I should redo that as well, probably. Maybe someday. I think it was in the database. And it only seems to matter with volume buttons. But I tested that on the soundbar, didn’t seem to be adjusting more then once at a time.

How long until my Watch gets an IP? Probably have to disconnect it. I’ll just let it have no IP. Since Apple’s software is too fucking stupid to try getting an IP again. Probably connected before the router was ready, but the AP was ready. Or before the switch was ready. Everything else on WiFi has an IP.

You apparently can’t renew the IP on my watch. You’d have to toggle WiFi, I don’t care enough to do so. Not like it’s going to stay connected to WiFi anyways.
