But I cut myself two times. If the knife was sharper, you'd probably have no trouble cutting the meat with how frozen it still was. Or maybe if you know how to cut meat.

There's another jerky cutting board thing for around $30, it might be the original one. Too bad nobody in town cuts meat. Well, maybe the meat store. If you go to some of the other stores, they'll say not enough staff, or that the meat cutter isn't there.

And you should place the meat on top of the jerky cutting board, instead of the jerky cutting board on top of the meat. I used two cutting boards, one to put the jerky board on, and one to hold the meat down. Too cold to use my hand, and I probably would have cut myself even worse.

But the knife doesn't just cut through it, you seem to have to use a lot of force. Maybe if you are patient, it'll work without pushing it or forcing it.

Didn't hurt that bad, but I thought it was going to, because of how much blood came out. The second cut wasn't as bad, it's not even bleeding anymore. I basically touched the blade with my thumb the second time. The first time, was kind of like getting stabbed.

I might know why it's so hard to cut. Because the steak I have flat down on the board. Perhaps you are supposed to hold it so it's standing up. You will cut a lot less if you do it that way, so you might not need to push or force the knife through. Don't think it came with instructions, so it'll take an idiot multiple tries until they figure it out. Don't think sharpening the knife will do much good. Cutting less at a time, now that could do wonders.
