magicJack isn’t great
The magicJack app doesn't always have audio when people call. Or when you call voicemail. That is you can't hear anything. I could forward the calls, but their terms seem to say if you forward too much, you'll get your account terminated. So no idea why they even offer forwarding.
There isn't that many options to switch to, if you want text messaging. VoIP.ms requires you go to their site to do text messaging, and you have to pay per text message. Probably no notifications when you get text messages, so kind of useless.
Might work if you plug an ancient phone into the adapter. But I don't plan on buying an ancient phone.
Might be cheap, but if you can't hear anything, not a good deal. Too bad there isn't really anything to switch to. I doubt it can be ported back to Google Voice, unless they reclassified the number as a wireless number, but if it's still a VoIP number, you can't port to Google Voice. You might be able to port it to a cell phone plan, and then to Google Voice. That's a hassle, and would cost even more, so I'll pass.
She never called back after I couldn't hear anything. So she probably isn't going to. I hanged up, as I couldn't hear a thing.
She called back. And I could hear something that time. If you search for not being able to hear anything with magicJack, you'll find nothing helpful. Maybe I should search for magicApp.
What's the point in going to her house for dinner? Her fantastic ex will probably block access to the sink while eating his dinner standing up. I'm pretty sure she'd tell me to sit down if I did that. So if I ever do go over there, I think I'll eat my dinner where he was, that way I have access to the sink when I'm done, and nobody else will until I'm done.
Not much can be found for no audio in it, guess it works fine for everybody else.
