That's a good question. Not sure it works without FSR, at least not with Wurm Online. I get stuttering when the FPS drops.

Don't buy a new monitor if you like the one you have. I think mine is supposed to have HDR, but all it does it make it too bright, so it looks washed out. I didn't buy it for the HDR, not even sure I knew it had HDR.

But if you really want a 4k monitor, and your monitor isn't, maybe buy one if you can afford a better brand. Sounds like AOC might have shitty warranty service too. Which is a bummer. I had an AOC that looked fine. But I wouldn't want a $270 monitor to die, and not be able to get a replacement. The AOC I had was a cheap one, so if it died, it wouldn't matter that much.

I should wait for the new FSR before upgrading to 4k. Is this monitor even under warranty anymore? Probably not. Maybe Pixio will have a 4k monitor I want by the time the new FSR is available for Linux. I basically want this monitor, with a 4k resolution.

Oh it does 4k, if you connect by HDMI, it's only supposed to do that with the PS4 Pro. So fake 4k? Either way, the Mac mini can set it's resolution to 4k. Don't think Linux sees that option using DisplayPort. I should lookup more info on it's 4k mode. Maybe there's a way to get it in Linux. But do you still get FreeSync? Probably not 95Hz. My GPU probably can't get 95 FPS @ 4k. Using FSR it could sort of be 4k with 95 FPS.
