The easiest way to test, would be with Crossover, which costs money. Not buying that this month.

It’s not compiled for ARM, so you get more than one performance hit.

Linux is cheaper, Proton is free. The other reason I don’t want to buy Crossover. Who knows how long I’ll keep the Mac mini, might sell it, so somebody else can enjoy the backdoor in the next macOS.

I did try the Crossover trial, so I probably can’t try it again for free. Not sure which Mac mini that was on. Did I try Fallout 76? If I did, it must not have worked.
