That expensive MSI motherboard isn't very good
If you intend on using a 5000 series with it, you need to upgrade the bios, and the updated bios might not work for the 5000 series.
Somebody upgraded the bios, and it still wouldn’t post with a 5000 series. If I pay $180, I expect it to work.
This MSI board was probably cheaper. I removed the $180 one from my wishlist.
You can’t buy the 5000 series CPUs anyways, unless you like spending over retail.
Don’t ask me what brand is good for motherboards. Biostar probably isn’t, the one in my mom’s old computer might be dead. But, a Windows update, could have killed it.
Biostar is cheaper than MSI, I’d buy Biostar again, nothing lives forever.
