Nice feature, the phone and console, don’t have to be on the same VLAN, and that’s isolated VLANs.

Must be going through a Microsoft server.

Waiting for Target to email me my gift card, so I can signup for Game Pass, I’m not spending $60 for old games. Might take four hours to get the code.

Is the firewall configured correctly on the router? As the phone and Xbox shouldn’t be allowed to talk.

I put it on the floor. Not enough room on my bookshelf, not unless I get unlazy and rearrange it. And that might require a longer HDMI cable. If the Pi wasn’t on the bottom shelf, there would be room. It might be smaller then the PS4.

Should put it on the bottom coffee table shelf, the one the TV is on. But that requires adjustment as well.

It has IR, so my universal remote can turn it on and off.

Good job eBay scalpers, you failed to buy one Xbox Series S console. I’ll be enjoying it, rather then making a profit, that I don’t need. I do need a storage expansion card. That’s around $200, and Amazon might be sold out, said it ships in 8 days or something.

Will Bethesda transfer my PC Fallout 76 character to the Xbox version? That game is included with Game Pass.

Isn’t able to connect to the Xbox anymore. Probably the firewall blocking it. Does it use Microsoft’s server at first? Because it shouldn’t of worked at all.

Had to order another gift card. You need enough money for next month as well. $15 – $1.10, isn’t enough for next month. Target might think I’m doing something suspicious, for being a dumbass. They have a $25 card. Haven’t got the second code yet.

The Xbox is connecting again, I punched a hole in the router for it. Nope, it’s not directly connecting to it. There’s no packets for that firewall rule. So, the app or Microsoft’s server had an issue.

Finally got sound, I had to turn eARC on, on the TV. Thought my soundbar didn’t do that. Guess to get any ARC, you need eARC on. I used the built in free TV app on the TV, and no sound there either, till I turned eARC on.

I didn’t play it much yet, I did die in No Man’s Sky, looking for sodium. Got to go to bed soon.
